What we collect and why
The only form on this website is the appointment request. It collects your name, phone and/or email, the message you write and the page language, solely to prepare and reply to your request. The legal basis is the consent you give by submitting the form and our legitimate interest in replying to you; we do not use this data for any other purpose.
Who we share data with
Your request is emailed to the clinic's front desk through Resend, the provider that processes that delivery; if you leave an email you also receive an automatic confirmation through the same channel. This website is hosted on Vercel, which also provides an aggregated performance metric (Speed Insights) about real visitors, without cookies or individual identification. None of these providers uses your data for its own marketing purposes.
How long we keep data
The form's content is not stored in any database on this website — it is only sent by email. To limit abusive submissions, the server temporarily keeps, in memory, counters by IP and by the email or phone you provided, in windows ranging from a few minutes to 24 hours, which are lost whenever the application restarts.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to request its portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with Portugal's data protection authority (CNPD). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
Patients' clinical data
This policy only covers the data collected through this website. The clinical data of Almada Care's patients — records, history and other health matters — follow the clinic's own healthcare confidentiality and retention rules, and are not managed by this website.
